Went to the NYCC on Saturday. It was a sea of people down every isle. I got what I wanted though, I made my first stop at the Zenescope booth and got the first six issues of Return to Wonderland signed. I really like the story/artwork in that book. Robert surprised me with a calender from the Grimms Fairy Tales cover art. I promptly hung that on the wall. Continuing on, I read the issues I bought, then framed and hung them from the wall. I wanted to see what was at the TopCow booth but it was so crowded, I really didn't feel like milling past all those people. The convention had people walking around in costume, and it was just really exciting. I had a feeling it would be crowded, when we got on the train and already saw people with the passes around their neck. Then the walk from Penn Station to the convention center, ever other person on the sidewalk had that little pass.
I came home and worked on that Floating Angel piece. That took me about a week to do, but the time was worth it. I am working on another one right now, Alice falling down the rabbit hole. I want it to turn out really detailed, so this one will most likely take a week or so to put out too. I still need to work on the hair for Floating Angel too. If anyone has any tips for making hair in Photoshop let me know, please. Yes, I did look it up online, but people have different styles, and I like hearing how other people do it.
Other than that.... Happy Monday!
